AN INTRODUCTION TO MICROSOFT PUBLISHER (Including greetings cards)

This is a BASIC course, aimed at people who wish to learn how to use Microsoft Publisher. Depending on time and personal preference the course will include many of the following:

  • Using preset templates to make calendars and brochures
  • Trying WordArt and AutoShapes
  • Using Publisher to make personal, professionallooking greeting cards
  • Using Watermarks
  • Making posters
  • Scanning personal photographs into a calendar or greetings card
  • Grouping/ungrouping text or pictures
  • Making borders around text, pictures and pages
  • Using text boxes
  • Rotate, copy, flip pictures
  • Inserting and moving pictures around the page
  • Bringing text/pictures to the front or sending to the back
  • Using nonprinting rulers
  • Print preview
  • Inserting more pages
  • Using Master pages

Please note you must have Microsoft Publisher on your computer at home.

Course duration: 3 weeks, one hour per session
