Beaminster Introduction
Beaminster Area Seniors is a new and emerging independent senior forum for people over the age of 50 years living in Beaminster and the surrounding area. Launched in September 2007, the Forum provides regular open forum meetings, held in the Beaminster public hall, where local older people have the opportunity to express their views on both local and national issues of concern.
Our Aims
- To promote the involvement and improvement of quality of life of persons over 50 years living in Beaminster and the surrounding area.
- To give local people an opportunity to express their views on local and national issues.
- To encourage greater social contact and participation between older people of the area.
- To provide a conduit for concerns of the members to be heard at a county and national level.
- To provide current information from local and national service providers.
