Christchurch Introduction

Christchurch Older People’s Forum has a membership that is open to any person residing within the Borough of Christchurch who is over the age of 50 or any representative of any local or national organisation dealing with the concerns of older people.

Our aims are:

To promote the needs and interests of all persons in Christchurch over the age of 50
To provide an open forum for older residents to have their say on issues that concern them and have those concerns considered by the Forum for possible further action and for the Forum to be represented on appropriate statutory bodies.
To provide our members with current information from local and national service providers
To make representation of our collective views to local or national organisations or authorities when appropriate
To be an independent, democratic, non-party political and non-profit making organisation.
