Welfare Benefits
The welfare benefits service provides information and advice on benefit entitlement.
We have a team of volunteer benefit advisers who will do home visits to make sure that older people across Dorset are getting all the money they are entitled to. So far they have helped to raise over £1,400,000 for Dorset pensioners. They will tell you if you should apply for Attendance Allowance, Pension Credit, Council Tax Benefit, Housing Benefit or Carers Allowance, help get the necessary forms and help fill them in.
