Bathing
Enabling you to bath safely, with confidence and dignity. We provide this service at Rowan Cottage in our specially adapted bath.
- A bath you can afford
- Bath lift to make independent bathing easier.
- Modern, comfortable bathroom.
- You may bring your own carer with you to assist you in using the bathlift (if required).
- Safety call system.
- Refreshments available before or after.
- It's an enjoyable experience.
We have a bathroom adapted for people with disabilities and you are welcome to come and try out the bath seat before committing yourself to buying one. You can come and use the bath lift in total safety on a regular basis, you may bring your own carer or relative to supervise you if you like. Cost of using the bathroom is per session and shown here . Clients are responsible for paying the carer themselves.
We can assist you to
- Arrange an occupational therapy assessment.
- Find suitable bathing equipment for your home.
- If you are on a limited/low income, to look at agencies to purchase/obtain suitable equipment.
Costs are:
- £5.20 using our facilities to bath yourself in safety and confidence. Full training given on bathlift.
