Car Parking & Charges
Note: Our car park is only for visitors to Age Concern's premises. It is not to be used for your own business or shopping unless you have previous booked and paid. Please display your PERMIT on all occassions. If you would like to apply for a permit please contact Lucy Hooper at Rowan Cottage on 01305 269444.
Parking is at the discretion of the Chief Officer. The times are:
Morning: 9:00am - 1:00pm Afternoon: 1:00pm - 5:00pm Evening: 6:00pm - 10:00pm
The following charges are applicable for the Day Centre and Office car parks. Application must be made through the office and is subject to availability.

Code of Conduct
The code of conduct for Age Concern Dorchester ensures appropriate behaviour and politeness to all staff and members of the organisation. It aims to avoid unnecessary distress and misunderstanding by all who are part of the organisation. It is simply stated and must be implemented at all times.
- Show respect at all times towards all members, volunteers and staff
- Ensure that all comments and behaviour is appropriate
- Be polite to others
- Respect people's personal space and do not touch anyone unless it is appropriate to do so
- Swearing, abusive or derogatory language will not be tolerated
- Always be respectful of the opinions, views and beliefs and diverse cultures.
- Extend a warm and friendly welcome to all new members and staff
- When talking to others, use the appropriate level and tone of voice
- Ensure that you have full understanding of the Age Concern Dorchester policy of confidentiality and implement it.
