Advertising

There are two profiles for our advertisements:

1. Square profile (with image/logo and email + website links below). Donation minimum = £20.

2. Full width profile and up to half height (image/logo on left/right plus your description adjacent). Donation minimum = £20.

Additional direct links from the front page or other page to your advertisement to give your advertisement a higher profile = above plus £5.

There is also the option of a simple link to your website from our "Good links - Donator links" menu item. Donation minimum = £15.

All advertisements are for 1 year from the date of inclusion. We will ask you just before that time if you would like to renew.

Advertisements must meet the spirit of Age Concern Dorchester.

For the Square profile Advert

A single prepared image (gif, jpg or png) of no greater that 170px x 170px (see our own dummy advert on the Advertisers page). This is approximately 5cm square. If your image is larger than this either reduce it to your satisfaction or send it as is but note it will be constrained to that size. The image should preferably include all you want to say about your business and your telephone number (although this can be in place of the email/website links - see below). The image can be made "clickable" with your email or website address.

One line below your logo "Send us an email" where the word "email" will be a link with your supplied email address. The email will have the heading "Advertisement enquiry" (unless altered by the sender). Or single line text alternative.

One further line below that "Visit our website" where the word "website" will be a link to your supplied website address. Or single line text alternative.

We advise you test the email/website links yourself when the advert is placed to ensure you are happy with the result.

For the full width "half height" Advert

A single prepared image (gif, jpg or png) or graphic plus text, no greater that 65px (2.5cm) tall and no wider that our narrowest page viewed (see our own dummy advert on the Advertisers page about 1cm wide). If your image is larger than this either reduce it to your satisfaction or send it as is but note it will be constrained to that size.

You can supply a graphic or graphic + text files. The text should not exceed the height of the graphic.

Links

You may require only a link to your website. This can be provided via our "Good Links - Donator links" menu item. Please provide the URL of your website when you make a donation.
